Freaking Twilight (spoilers)

The following contains many spoilers to the new Twilight movie. You have been warned.

So this is a more or less impromptu review of Breaking Dawn, Part 2, the new Twilight movie. Specifically just the ending because a lot of the rest of it was more or less a bit of a blur to me. TO be quite honest I was just happy to see that Kirsten Stewart was... for the most part kinda believeable troughout, but the ending, oh gosh they had a chance to fix the series...

So the way it happens, I'll paint a picture the best I can:

So the bad sparkly vampires are about to ave a showdown with the good sparkly vampiresand the werewolves. The bad sparkly vampires are doing this because they think that a child has been turned into a sparkly vampire by the good sparkly vampies, they don't know that she is ha;f human and will grow up and be able to control herself yet, fine whatever. When it comes down to it though the bad sparkly vampires create some commotion and one of the good sparkly vampires charges into battle only to get decapitated, and trust me he was actually an important character that died. From there an actual epic battle ensues, sparkly vampires are behaving like actual vampires for once. I mean it heads are rolling, cools stuff is happening, actual tragedy that happens in a story is taking place.

Bella, the man defenseless female, has actually become something.... not so meek and silly, she actually rushes in and is kicking some serious but, at one point a big canyon is created by this guy with special powers or something, and Bella actually like... Sparta kicks someone into it. She literally Sparta kicks them in! (video reference below)

But then after all the insanity, after how much more awesomely different it was from the book, after Bella actually helped kill the main bad sparkly vampire.... we fade back to the previous scene, all of it was a vision one of the good sparkly vampires with future seeing abilities showed the leader of the bad sparkly vampires.

And from there we go back to the ending that happened actually in the book, which I guess gets points for loyalty to the original? Either version still contains foot face robert paterson. I guess you can tell me what you think in the comments... and if this spoiled anything for you, remember you were warned well advance.

Star Wars 7, 8, and 9

So I may catch a little flack for my opinions here, so be warned.

Recently Disney purchased the Star Wars franchise from George Lucas, something that they have honestly been wanting to do for a very long time now it seems. I mean, they have a star wars themed weekend once a year at Disney land for the gods sake.

I hear a lot of anger at this issue as Disney could only want to make more Star Wars related stuff, that would mean more movies obviously, and that.... well that means episodes 7,8, and 9. To be completely honest here, as a Star Wars Fanatic, I want to be completely okay with it. On one hand, it is Disney and they have screwed up a lot of stuff. (they produced at least 2 and a half good Pirates of the Caribbean movies didn't they?)

I should also point out that the books the franchise is based on do stretch out to the third trilogy, the original story does exist, so they are not just making up something as they go along, as for the revival possibly of Darth Vader... I'm not sure if there is any merit to that, but I will say if they do that then it will be kinda silly.

Stress makes us do Silly THings that I have been having, a funny story for all of you

The late nights continue on and on. The "crunch" as mentioned in the last blog has been effecting me less mentally. Slightly more physically. There is still a lot of stress, as a senior but that should come as absolutley no surprise.

To lighten the mood, a funny story for all of you. Yay! Today as a senior I had some priority to register for classes at noon today. I was at a meeting today with my laptop at 4 when I remembered this. In a panic I excused myself from the meeting and sprinted for my dorm room leaving the laptop which I now type upon there. I needed the code in order to get online to register for classes before the space filled up. Panicked still I shoved my way back into the room to the laptop and type in my code.

The one class I absolutely need to get into... I look at it's listing while finding it hard to breath. Out of the 18 spots available.... only one other had been filled.

What happened next involved a lot of swearing that I don't find appropriate to post on this blog.

End of the year crunch

So, I am not sure how long there is left in the school semester, maybe about a month or so. I don't really keep track. But as the minutes go by the pressure just sort of mounts and mounts doesn't it? Procrastination and a giant work load are a combination that don't go very well together. Something that really should be obvious to me and/or anyone else who lives their life as a college student.

The best thing to do in times like this I feel is just to buckle down and get things done. For me that means a surprisingly small amount of studying. What id does mean is a load of physical work. A large 8 to 10 page paper and multiple art projects. I'm not trying to use this blog as a means to complain or vent.... okay so maybe I am but my point is still valid and this kind of information is the thing that needs to be talked about. For now I bid you goodbye and hope that someone takes something out of this little blurb of text up on the Internet.
