Getting cold aint it?

So hey now, as I look around and walk outside it is becoming more and more apparent that the colder season are upon us. Heading back home for the week end this become especially obvious for me. Good old little Tupper Lake does just so happen to get much colder than Plattsburgh does in my opinion. I unfortunately like do not have any other from town to agree with me but yeah it's worth mentioning anyways.

Nothing like stacking firewood I think just simply makes it more apparent that it is going to be getting cold soon, and it makes me remember a few funny things about this section of the calender. In particular it puts my last years dorm mate into mind. He was from Dubai, and for that matter he hung out with a lot of people who were from warmer climates... and there were times where they just hated me, because while they bundled up in their winter jackets and such I was always the one feeling perfectly comfortable in just a hoodie. Understandable that someone from the Caribbean would find it cold at the first sight of winter snow.

Tell me what you think of this tough? Are yo a polar bear Like me? Gone just be wearing your hoodie until late November early December? Does your home town make Plattsburghs cold temperature seem extreme or laughable. If you are a student at another school, just compare tat yo your won hometown. And if somehow you are reading this and not even a college student.... well then the question does not work and I am very sorry.... not really though.

  1. Well I'm from Schenectady which is only a a couple hours away so compared to Plattsburgh, I think the weather is relatively the same. What pushes me over the edge for weather here is the wind, especially this time of the year. I'm not used to living by the water so adjusting to the wind please the cold is a little tough but not too bad.

  2. Coming up here was definitely a weather shock. I saw my first negative degree weather here (-14) and being new to the area, I naively thought we wouldn't have school. Wrong. There were classes. To make it worse, I was stuck in the room with the messed up windows that let cold air in all the time. I was not impressed, but I've since gotten accustomed to it.
