Just thought this woulbe a funny little second blog for the week. I come from a relatively small town compared plattsburgh. Much smaller actually. Big city folk like to reefer to us as rednecks in little ole Tupper Lake. Jeremy I come for scholar in Plattsburgh and this picture shows what I get below. Duck tape glass repair. Coming up until now I used to think was the stuff of mythology and legend. Yet here it is, only the ultimate redneck does repairs like this, and what do you know they work for such a prestigious university as the one I am attend ing now.
That's a pretty funny story, I have to admit though duck tape does fix everything. There have been multiple occasions when duck tape has helped me fixed something whether it be temporary or permanent.

I actually looked this up once. It's actually "duct" tape. "Duck" tape is actually a name brand that makes "duct" tape. ;)
DeleteMy boyfriend and I were actually just talking about duct tape today! We googl'd how to get rid of warts, what to do, where to go and what not. But during out travels through the inter-web we found that many people had recommended duct tape to remove them. Low and behold there has actually been research conducted that says duct tape gets rid of warts. Who'da thunk it?
ReplyDeleteI am similarly from a small town. (much much smaller than Plattsburgh) It's funny to see what people actually use duct tape for: cars, windows, picture frames, ANYTHING! (It's never failed me.)
